On the afternoon of July 15th at 3 PM, the first Dongguan e-sports industry exchange seminar was held in the meeting room of the New Media Center of Dongguan Radio and Television Station. Seventeen people attended, including leaders from the Guangdong E-sports Association, leaders from the Dongguan Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports Bureau, representatives from the Dongguan E-sports Association, and representatives from the e-sports industry and companies in Dongguan. They brainstormed ideas for the development of e-sports in Dongguan and worked to help the city’s e-sports carve out a new path of its own.

On August 17, 2019, the 3rd Mengshiqi Anime & Game Carnival was successfully held at Hall A2 of the Nanhu International Convention and Exhibition Center, and it was a complete success! The event was co-hosted by Tangshan Jinwu Culture Co., Ltd. and Tangshan Jiangzi Culture Development Co., Ltd., with guidance from the Tangshan Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the Tangshan Folk Culture Exchange Association. It received comprehensive coverage from media including Tangshan Dexiao Zhonghua Charity Reporters, Junior Reporters, and Tangshan Impression Live. Special thanks to domestic indie game developers: Feiyan Archipelago Studio and Shijiazhuang NCE Comic Convention for their active participation, as well as Tangshan Flowers & Café, Tangshan Bofeng Video Game Club, Bilibili Panda Game Subtitle Group, Jiangzi Guoxue, Shijin Garments, Dushu Fashion Studio, Comic Motion Photography Studio, Dimensional Light Corridor Photography Studio, Little Strawberry Vending Machine, Tangshan Small Animal Protection Association, BILIBILI Membership Purchase, Miaote Ticketing, and Demei Ticketing for their strong support of this event! The event attracted over 2,000 visitors. Promotion on WeChat, Weibo, Bilibili, and other online platforms covered major middle schools, high schools, and universities throughout Tangshan and nearby areas, and even drew attention from teens in surrounding cities like Qinhuangdao and Tianjin.

On June 12, eSports fans in Dongguan gathered at the Xinghe International Cinema Internet Cafe in Liaobu to hold a friendly match of 'CrossFire' (CF for short). The event was jointly organized by Tencent Dongguan and the Zhudongguan eSports Channel. The atmosphere on-site was lively and exciting, with lots of giveaways and prizes. Many participants said that the eSports scene in Dongguan is getting better and better, and they really need events like this, which everyone enjoyed a lot.

It is reported that on May 31, 2020, the MGC Series Dongguan Racing Team Internal Competition was held at 85 Ultimate Coffee in Houjie. The event was co-hosted by Dongguan Sanyi Electronics Technology and Zhengzhou Sports, and organized in collaboration with Dongguan TV’s Zhi Dongguan E-sports Channel and the Cultural Center. At the same time, it received full participation and support from the Dongguan Racing Club.
